Two things the official app cannot do: tell you what is wrong with your settings, and work out the right ones by measuring your actual room.

Drop a .goxlr, .goxlrMicProfile or .preset. It decodes
every setting and reports what is wrong, what is suspicious, and what is worth knowing — each
with a fix.
Four guided captures — silence, keyboard, desk knocks, voice — then it derives your gate, compressor, gain, de-esser and a match-EQ from the measurements and writes a ready-to-load mic profile.
Start measuring →Most GoXLR advice is someone else's numbers copied from a video. But a gate threshold depends on your room, a gain setting on your mic, and an EQ curve on your voice. Numbers that are right for one person are frequently wrong for the next.
So these tools measure and decode rather than recommend. The analyser reads the
values the app hides behind indices — the file stores 9 / 1 / 9 where the app shows
“4:1, 2 ms, 100 ms” — and applies rules that each have a stated reason. The calibrator
records your actual noise floor and voice and computes from there.
A noise gate cannot remove a keyboard click that happens while you are speaking — the gate is open. It only works between phrases. When your keyboard and your quietest speech are within about 6 dB of each other, no threshold separates them, and the calibrator says so instead of pretending otherwise. The fix is physical: mic closer, gain lower, capsule angled away, off the desk and onto a boom.
